The Grand Victorian is excited to host an art show featuring the works of local painter, Marina G. Reed. Reed was born in Caracas, Venezuela, but has lived in New Orleans since 1965. Enamored by the historic architecture, her watercolors feature New Orleans’ houses. She also has paintings inspired by her travels in Italy, Spain, and Hawaii.
Join Marina’s Watercolors and the Grand Victorian on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 4-6pm. The art show highlights Marina’s watercolors of New Orleans architecture, from Victorian mansions along St. Charles Avenue to landscapes of the French Quarter. An original print or stationary of these captivating paintings are perfect for birthday and Christmas gifts or to revamp your home!
