We were in New Orleans to move our teenager into Tulane University. Driving anywhere from here is hassle-free, and it is the perfect spot for visiting Tulane. The French Quarter is a short taxi or streetcar ride away. We already have plans for a second stay.

The Grand Victorian is a Destination of Choice for Lodging near Tulane and Loyola University for Parents & Visitors

Year after year, we welcome back many parents who choose to stay with us while their children attend nearby Tulane and Loyola universities. The streetcar can pick you up just outside our front door, and it is a quick 10-minute ride to the universities. You can easily hop on the streetcar, go to the Superdome for graduation, hop on again and go to the universities for the ceremonies!

While your students are living and learning in New Orleans, you can make the Grand Victorian your home base. We’re convenient to the French Quarter and have dozens of great restaurants within walking distance of our bed and breakfast in New Orleans.

Tulane University was the first research university to require community service in the curriculum, and creative thought and community action live side by side at Loyola. Both universities are a staple in the Garden District area and the New Orleans tradition.
